Just returned from Crown Princess 15 day cruise to Hawaii. Having been on the ship during its first Inaugural cruise in June, 2006, we were eager to see what shape she was in. While we did notice some normal wear, and some rusting in spots, overall the ship is still in fine shape. The crew are constantly cleaning, sanding, painting, etc, but after all, the sea is very unforgiving!

The crew are so organized for embarkation, debarkation, drills, ports of call etc. They have these exercises down to a science, all you have to do is follow instructions.

We noticed a few cutbacks such as taking off the beef tournedos under always available at dinner and adding a cheeseburger. But it didn't matter, really there were always plenty of dinner selections, and offered some type of beef dish most nights and prime rib twice. There were plenty of fish, shrimp and seafood offerings as well.
