After cruising on Oasis in March and loving it we decided Harmony a must for us.
Embarkation was easy and quick, we did online check in prior to boarding and were on the ship in no time at all. Knowing the layout of the ship made it easier as we didn't spend so much time finding our bearings this time.
First stop bionic bar, we had great fun here ordering and making up our own cocktails.
We had lunch in Park cafe and enjoyed the lovely atmosphere of Central Park.
Staterooms were ready not long after and we were pleasantly surprised with our room, it was certainly more spacious than our equivalent on Oasis, plenty storage as well.
We pre booked shows but there were many changes/ cancellations which proved annoying...... the production of Grease was very good.
We also pre booked dining times which ended up a disaster..... we never ate at our booked time slot on any of the evenings, we always had to queue and although we chose to dine as a couple it seemed the quickest way to get a table was to share. Guests who had not booked were often seated before the booked guests. This experience was the one thing which we found very disappointing about the cruise.
Our favourite breakfasts......... Solarium & Johnny Rockets
Service on board was good especially our room attendant, nothing was problem, nice and friendly.
Love the big ships, Harmony has something for everyone and given the ship was full it never felt crowded. We didn't manage to do everything we'd hoped mainly as it was quite a busy port schedule and would have preferred more sea days to enjoy the ship. Guess we'll have to return!
Must do .... Ultimate Abyss .... great fun
We did self assist disembarkation and were off the ship in 15 mins... would definately do this again.
We had a lovely surprise of champagne and strawberries delivered to our room on the first day but unfortunately don't know who it was from....even asked at Guest Realtions .... was it you RC!!!
Very spacious and plenty of storage, comfy bed
