I chose this cruise because we always wanted to see Greece. Vision is a nice sized ship, but this time I noticed the lack of listening music venues. After dinner, if you want to have a drink, and listen to some jazz, or background music, you are out of luck. They did have a delightful guitar/violin duo, but they only seemed to play in the late afternoon, early evening. If you want to talk, and sip, nada. Don't mention the piano bar, which was manned by a maniac with a good voice but awful jokes - not funny and sometimes blue. You would think that when nobody laughs, he'd take the hint, and stick to singing, which he is pretty good at. Tenders were an issue, with people who chose Cruise Critics over ship trips being punished by late departures and long lines. THe specialty Giovannis Table was, as usual, superb. Our Cruise Critic excursions were great - thanks to Maritza, Madeline and Pam. Even with my gripes, it was a great trip and I would recommend it! PS I recommend getting into Venice a day or two early. Some people had trouble because of hurricanes.

Large Ocean View Stateroom

Cabin F

Not so great - we were over the engines, but by facing our pillows toward the window, the noise was bearable.

Port Reviews

Venice

Take the vaporetti and be sure to catch aconcert in a church!

Mykonos

Easy to do on your own. Ferry to Delos worth it.
