Very enjoyable

We have just returned from a cruise of the Californian coast departing from Vancouver.

Boarding was easy with no delays or problems. Our vacation on board was very enjoyable, and while the ship did appear to require refurbishment in certain areas, this did not spoil our stay. We did however notice a few damp smells around certain areas - including our cabin, but when I raised this the staff they did all possible to correct it. I do however feel it was a generic problem, rather than one specific to our stateroom alone.

We paid more to get one of the cabins at the very back of the ship looking directly out to sea, and beside the suites. It was very good and the views were great but a little bumpy during sailings in rough waters

Port Reviews

San Francisco

It rained heavily for 2 days which restricted our plans and movement

Catalina Island (California)

Lovely place. As we had UK drivers car insurance we were unable to organise a self drive golf cart hire.. However the local trolley bus was an excellent alternative and well worth it- very reasonably priced
