The European ports MADE this cruise! Sorry the ship is moving to the caribbean. As far as the ship itself: noticed definitely lower ceilings in many areas (my husband had to duck to avoid head trauma!), and the "show" areas were oddly designed leaving many obstructed view seats in all the show lounges. Carnival's attempt to make these multi-purpose venues made them not-quite-right for any.

The crew was fabulous, friendly and personable. The addition of the micro brewery in the pub onboard was a great idea and a very fun place to hang out. The food was normal Carnival....not exceptional but perfectly adequate. Our cabin, 8400, was fine but I do wish Carnival would put coffee pots in the rooms! I ordered early room service coffee every morning and got it 8 out of the 10 mornings. The other 2 mornings they "forgot" to collect the breakfast orders from our end of the floor. First World problem, I know, but irritating all the same.

We will definitely cruise Carnival again, although perhaps not this ship.
