We were first-time cruisers and we were delighted to have taken up a recommendation from an acquaintance who cruised on Equinox last October. We booked our own flights and hotels because we could not get direct flights from our home location - so our first encounter with Celebrity was at the Port of Barcelona. Check in was rather drawn out but I suppose when you try to check in over 2,700 people it does take time.

Once aboard Equinox we were impressed by the spaciousness and cleanliness of the public areas and were equally impressed by our Concierge Class Stateroom with balcony. The welcoming fruit and sparkling wine were delightful.

During our entire stay aboard the ship we could find no fault with our two concierges - Gerry and Wiyan. They seamlessly attended to their duties always with a smile and a chirpy hello.

Concierge Class 3

Cabin C3

Roomy cabin with lots of nooks and crannies to store things. Plenty of room under the bed for our large suitcases and extra storage above the bed. Bed itself firm but very comfortable. TV in need of replacement [showing its age with missing pixels in a line across screen]. Bathroom well laid out. Shower good.
