Sail Date: Oct 2016
Cabin: Promenade Stateroom

Certainly not on par with other RCI ships we have sailed on. Quality and choice of food was below standard. Entertainment was poor. Sea days were boring...not the usual choice of activities available; no shuffleboard type activities on offer at all. Time tabling of events was not favourable for the second sitting guests. Bar staff need training as there was a lot of "queue jumping". The choice of soft drinks and non alcoholic cocktails was very limited.

The cabin stewardess was lovely, as always, and the entertainment staff worked hard and did their best but, as many did not have English as their first language, it was sometimes very difficult to understand them, making trivia very difficult. Even the prizes given to winners were not as good as on other RCI ships!

Get your act together RCI. The itinerary around the Far East was good but the ship certainly lets you down!

Cabin Review

Promenade Stateroom

Cabin PR

The cabin was good, apart from the bathroom door which did not always close properly. The plug in the sink did not always stay down but we had someone come and fix it.

The restaurant staff were friendly, polite and efficient. However, the standard and quality of food was poor. We had to send back food which was lukewarm at best and some of the beef dishes were chewy. There were not many vegetables served with the main courses. Starters seemed to be over heavily salad based.
