Cabin: Balcony Stateroom

Just back from our first msc cruise having been on at least 6 other cruises, it was our first and certainly our last. This was awful, firstly with the exception of the cabin staff and waiters the staff were rude and unhelpful. You would ask for help and be told to go find someone else. Entertainment staff were seen drinking and security staff smoking in the smoking lounge. Not a professional set up.

Only two sittings for dinner and if your late you can forget it, the doors are locked. When you consider that this ship takes 4000 guests, you can imagine the shoving and pushing there is at dinner time to get to the restaurant. Even though we were all inclusive (drinks package as well) you are consistently harassed to purchase premium wines and lobster. There was the buffet option, tried once and never to be repeated. Again pushing and even worse cold food and the staff unhelpful.

Due to so many people lifts were a nightmare, with people pushing and forcing there way in to such a level that we witnessed one lady who was carrying a baby being knocked completely of her feet, luckily neither her or the baby were hurt.

Cabin Review

Balcony Stateroom

The cabin was big for ship standards with a large corner balcony. The cabin steward was friendly, hard working and helpful. If there was a fault it was the tiny flat screen tv sitting on a high shelf that had no english speaking channels.
