As a long time cruiser and 7 years sailing on Celebrity's Solstice Line, I think I'm a pretty good judge of their declining service.

EXCEPTIONS:

Before embarking on this scathing article, I'd like to mention a few, and really notable people and departments who salvaged our final voyage: Our stateroom attendant, Ivan, was extremely kind and considerate, going the extra distance every morning wheeling my father's wheelchair even beyond the gangway. The specialty Dining Room's food and service is on par with the best Manhattan 5 star restaurants, and we used specialty dining every evening we were on the ship. Mary ( from Queens) in guest services truly cares about feedback (good and bad) from her clients.
