We chose this cruise because we wanted to celebrate our anniversary, oct. 11, plus we had never been to these ports before. we've sailed with carnival 3 times before, 2 times on the freedom--these cruises were great. this cruise on the conquest was not good. the crew, especially the dinner dining crew, we had the early seating in the upper minot restaurant,--nahor, jovan and nejadine were terrific; they were excellent every evening, very professional and right on top of all our requests. they remembered our names and we were very pleased with them. they need a good incentive reward for their excellent service. also, our cabin steward, kokoa, and helper, cabin #9258, were great. They also need a nice incentive for their terrific service. They remembered our names every day and granted our every request.

the bed was not comfortable, but everything else in the cabin was ok. the food was delicious but not enough choices; the entertainment was terrible (music too loud every evening) mostly not suited to the older travelers; the dive-in movies were good; also, pictures/picture takers not as good as usual. i know most people enjoy triple-x entertainment, but the comedy guys could have been a lot less so for those of us who don't enjoy that type of language!! our embarkation and disembarkation went very smooth. i had a walker, so i was treated with respect and courtesy. my husband would have used the hot tub because of his medical condition, but there were also children using them when we wanted to. they also were splashing water on us while we were watching movie. i asked them were parents were, and they just splashed us more. hot tubs need more control!! total cruise just not up to carnival standard as far as we are concerned!!!
