My wife and I are senior citizens in our upper 70s, but reasonably mobile. This tour suited us well, requiring a modest amount walking and featuring highly informative guided visits. All was excellent. Meals, service, itinerary ... no complaints. We were met at all junctures by competent staff that handled greeting, transfers, etc. in first-class fashion. Our river cruise was complicated by high water levels, but although this caused us to miss a day's itinerary the time was well compensated. The kitchen staff catered sensitively to my wife's food allergies. She can't tolerate wine, but the rest of us in our group made up for it! (The wine was of notably high quality.) Meals were excellent, although as a result I gained rather more weight than I expected! Our cabin was just the right size for us and well organized. We particularly appreciated seeing so many cities without having to move our luggage, and it was a pleasure to watch the world go by from our stateroom balcony. It was also a pleasure to have the personalized service that is feasible with a small passenger list.
