Carnival offers a great trip at a reasonable cost and delivers. The Sunshine is excellent and renovated. My partner and I are Platinum with this cruise line so we are always treated well.
No wait to board and a lovely welcome at NYC port in the VIP lounge. Went to cabin at 1pm and it was ready (platinum perk). Had lunch which was lovely.
We bought the cheers package. Out of NYC its not covered on the first day (mistake) unless you buy on board and they refund the first nights drinks which I will do next time as our tab was very high the first night.

Balcony
Nice fresh decor, shower was larger that usual, great storage in the cabin and a standard sized balcony which is fine. Beds very very comfortable,,Had Hair Dryer, Flat TV, AC/Heat,,modern system,,more than enough closet space,,couldt fill it and 2 nice robes...
Honestly we would leave for 20minutes, come back and the room was cleaned !! I dont knowhow they do it. Again excellent job.

We walked outside through the market then too the malls. Really nice folks in port in Canada. Had lunch at Steemers...AMAZING and directly across from the cruise terminal. After September bring a jacket !!
