We took our almost 5 year old on the Disney Fantasy, and what an amazing experience!

Embarkation was so easy. We spent the night at a hotel near the port, and arrived at the port around 10:30. We walked straight through to the desk cast member and were given our Key to the World cards, our pictures were taken, and we were given a map of the ship and our boarding group number (we were in group 9). We had just enough time to meet Minnie Mouse and take a photo, then they called our number.

Our cabin was a regular balcony cabin, but larger than on other cruise ships. We loved the split bath, what a God send. Rudolph was our cabin steward, and he was great. He kept everything clean and tidy. He even surprised our granddaughter with Disney princess sheets for her bed!

Cabin Review

Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom with Verandah

Cabin 05D

Awesome cabin! Plenty of room for the 3 of us. Loved the split bath. The cabin was bigger than cabins on other cruise lines. There is a bathtub in every cabin because most people are traveling with children. The TV has many on demand Disney movies. That was an awesome way to relax and wind down at the end of the day. The balcony was average size for a cruise. There is an extra lock at the top of the balcony door to keep little ones from going out without supervision. There is plenty of storage space, drawers and closets. We travel with very large luggage, and it still fit right under the bed! There are a few hooks in the cabin and the bathrooms to hand lanyards, robes or anything on, nice addition. There are also 2 clothes lines in the shower to dry bathing suits.

Port Reviews

Grand Cayman (Georgetown)

We decided not to take an actual excursion in Grand Cayman. We did get off the ship to do a little shopping. It was ok, not what I was expecting.

Castaway Cay

Castaway Cay is absolutely Beautiful!!!! We just enjoyed lounging at the beach, swimming, and playing in the sand. It was easy to find a couple of chairs under a palm tree.

The bartender servers came around and asked if we wanted drinks, but they took about half an hour or so to arrive. A bit slow in my opinion, but once the drinks were their, they were delicious!

The tram makes traveling around so easy.

We didn't use the kids' facilities, we just stayed on the beach and in the water.
