We chose this cruise because it was our home port and easy access without flying in the night before. Getting on the ship was not too bad. We were told to arrive between 10-10:30 which we did and waited until 11:30 to board. By 2 our rooms were ready and luggage came fast. We had an inside cabin and did not expect much but were disappointed to realize that you could not open the closet doors all the way and could not really access the closet at all without moving the bed. The tv was stuck in a corner that you could not see which was only a big deal because we were trying to keep track of weather due to Hurricanes Matthew and Nicole. There was nothing to sit on except the beds (no chair, couch or love seat). I have been on 10 cruises, 3 inside cabins and never was I so uncomfortable in the room. The beds were comfortable for sleeping and the bathroom had a bigger than average shower which was nice. However between the 10.5 inch clearance at the end of the bed to get to the second bed it was a challenge to just use the bathroom without accidentally bumping the 2nd bed at night and waking up my sister.

The specialty restaurants were awesome but the main dining room was a major disappointment. Other than 1 night I found it hard to find anything I wanted to eat on the menu and ate in O'Sheehan's a couple of nights. Food was great there. Loved La Cucina, Moderno & Cagneys.

We did a couple of shows and they were both well done especially the aerial dancing team that performed at both shows. Service was spotty. Our room attendant was excellent, Kristine. Bartenders were good, some waiters were good and others just did not understand a word you said. For example I asked for 1 egg in the morning and always got 2 in the Venetian. I just gave up and it became the joke of the day. The waiter in charge of the java cafe was rude and typically late. When we asked he said no one told him he was to open at 6:30 and he was not ready. We would just have to come back later for our coffee. One morning I can excuse but after 3 days of it we realized he just did not care.

Cabin Review

Mid-Ship Inside

Cabin IA

Worse cabin we have ever been in on 10 cruises. If you want to go don't get an inside cabin. No where to sit except bed. Could not open closet without moving bed to get access.
