First cruise as a honeymoon cruise from New York to Quebec to enjoy the Indian summer.
Concisely put: the experience was worth every dollar spent. We had the most attentive and dedicated service from our stewards Krisna and Richard, all meals were very good or excellent. We love breakfast in bed, and this was always served timely and most enjoyable. We had chosen a seating of six for dinner as we like to meet new people, and had lots of animated and charming conversations with our fellow cruising couples over dinner. While the meals at the Queens Grill were very good to excellent, (try the lobster variations, we loved them) and also available for room service, we found the dining experience in the Indian restaurant Koriander okay but the food somewhat uninspired compared to authentic Indian cuisine as we know it.
Though, this may be a bit nitpicking, given the high standards we applied to our experience.
Very tastefully furbished, spacious, enough storage for lots of clothes and other stuff.
We especially liked the mattress, neither to soft, not to hard, we slept well without interruptions. It certainly helped that our suite was very quiet , hardly any noises were heard from adjacent cabins, so either the wall insulation was so good or we had such well behaved neighbors.... Bathroom with same high standards, balcony as well with sides protected against wind, so we could enjoy times outside even with the ship going at around 20 knots against the wind.
