This was my third cruise with Carnival and 1st on the Freedom. The other two were on the Magic, which is much larger. All cruises were roughly around the same in price and we always get a balcony room.

The good: The good points about the ship was embarkation and was easy and quick to get on board. The Red Frog and Blue Tequila outdoor bars by the main pool was a nice touch.

The Sun King Steakhouse was exceptional as also the servers. Our room was 8320 and there 15 of us all alongside each other. Our steward, Jose, was amazing as well as our servers in the main dining area. The best part of the boat is the Alchemy bar with Mark, Oscar and Alex. They took extra care of us and are an asset to the ship. The workout area was MUCH better and larger than the Magic.

Balcony

Cabin 8D

Great area for a room. Right below the exit and Lido deck by 1 floor so we just walked up the stairs to the lido and main pool. Balcony was much smaller than our other cruises.
