This is our 3rd cruise with Royal Caribbean. Last year we cruised the Med on the Allure of the seas and loved it. Harmony is practically the same ship with a few extras like the water slides and the ultimate abyss which is the slide at the back of the ship dropping you 10 decks. Great fun, and the robotic bar. Loved it. My wife and i had an interior room which was all we needed for the time we were in it. We dinned in the main dinning room in the evening and found the service and the food excellent.

We purchased the drinks package which we found initially expensive but over the coarse of 7 days worth it.

The entertainment was very good. The production of Grease to the ice show, the Fine Line and my personal favorite show Columbus was of a very high standard. The parades in the royal promenade in the evening were fun.

The ship is amazing and as big and impressive as it is with 6000 guests it never feels crowded. We found the staff friendly, polite and chatty.

We had breakfast in the Park cafe and lunch in the solarium bistro which were quieter than the windjammer which can be very busy, having to do a couple of circuits to get a table at peak times.

We did 2 shore excursions to Pisa and Pompeii through Royal Caribbean booking the guided tour. Our guides were funny and informative.

This class of ship has amazing facilities and entertainment for all ages.

We have booked another cruise with Royal Caribbean in January from Dubai for my 50th birthday, then back on the Allure of the seas next year in the Caribbean.Cannot wait.

Cabin Review

Interior Stateroom
Cabin Q 277

Interior stateroom was small but very well kitted out with good storage.

Port & Shore Excursion Reviews

City Tour

Booked 2 trips through Royal Caribbean. Morning trip to Pisa. We could have done with an extra hour or 2 to fully explore the tower and cathedral. Second trip to Pompeii. Recommend a guided tour for both trips.

Pompeii Walking Tour

Recommend the guided tour. Pompeii is fascinating. As you would imagine a 2000 year old ruined city the roads and walk ways are uneven and not suitable if you have walking difficulties.

Florence & Pisa Tour

Tour guide was entertaining and informative. We could have done with and extra hour or 2 to climb up the leaning tower and explore the cathedral.
