We had to reschedule this cruise from last year which gave us the opportunity to add 5 days up front to explore Barcelona. We are so glad we did as there was so much to see and take in. We want to go back. The cruise was fantastic - the weather perfect, Celebrity's staff was friendly and helpful; the ship was spotless, Blu's food was even better and I so appreciate the accommodations for a gluten free diet. The Medical staff and Guest Relations very helpful when I had GI issues and was confined to the stateroom. Guest Relations provided complimentary water, room service, and movies. And Nolan took great care of our stateroom and sterilized the stateroom.

The AquaClass stateroom was spacious, even with storing a closed wheelchair. We had more than enough room for storage. The European shower feels wonderful and the bathroom amenities are lovely. We used and enjoyed the Persian Room and loved being in the "quiet room" at the front of the ship on the AquaClass deck for a phenomenal view of the ship leaving each port.

Because I fractured my leg prior to the cruise I was in an air cast and a wheelchair. We arranged tours with private companies to accommodate my needs. All three were fabulous; the guides so knowledgable and willing to takes us places we wanted to experience. (Shore Excursions only had one excursion for a wheel chair and it was sold out. Perhaps Celebrity could organize more excursions for handicapped.) Celebrity does a great job not only with getting on and off the ship at the ports but providing port information about transportation, sites, safety, and maps.

Cabin Review

AquaClass 2

Cabin A2

We had more than enough room and storage even with a folded wheelchair. We enjoyed the veranda as well as the shower and amenities. The cabin placement was quiet and fairly stable on the nights in the Atlantic when it got a little rocky.

Port Reviews

Palma de Mallorca (Majorca)

We did a walking tour ourselves. One of the locals guided us to wheelchair accessible entrance to the Cathedral in Palma. It is a must see. The sunlight coming through the rose stained glass window in the morning filled the back of the cathedral with rainbows. Being in a wheelchair, they let us in for free. So much kindness shown by the people.

Lisbon

Again, we did our own tour - hop on, hop off bus. Enjoyed very much.
