My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves on the Viking Sea, a beautiful new ship.

The trip was planned in conjunction with 12 other cruise guests over 2 years ago. The ports of call, for the most part were very interesting. The port talks helped to make each stop more enjoyable. We dined at nearly every restaurant and found the food quality and service to be superb.

The fitness center and spa had very nice features including windows to view the outside while exercising. We also enjoyed the sport deck as well a deck four for covered walking outdoors. Furthermore, the open areas within the ship were well designed for social interactions. From the Wintergreen for high tea to the Explorer's Lounge Levels 1 & 2 were very inviting to mingle with other passengers or simply enjoy. Because our berth was on deck 7 we really enjoyed the short walk in the morning for a cup of coffee with pastry.

Cabin Review

Cabin Deluxe Stateroom

We loved the heated bathroom floor and the excellent lighting features, both in the stateroom and in the bathroom.
