Sail Date: Oct 2016

We traveled on the Norwegian Sky earlier this month. This is our second time on this ship. The ship itself is a little dated but there are plenty of amenities and with the all inclusive aspect it's hard not to stay entertained. This time we chose an inside cabin room. The room itself is small as you would expect but we didn't spend much time in the cabin anyway. The crew was always very friendly and helpful any time we had questions.

We had the unlimited internet package for the cruise. My wife and I must work at times so it was necessary. Our first sailing the internet was smoother but this time we had a difficult time. We even accessed the internet usually after 11 PM. It was very slow and every few minutes it would completely die for a few minutes. We were okay with it being slow but the lack of consistency was frustrating. And for that reason only I'm deducting a star for the cruise rating.

This cruise is normally a Bahamas cruise. We happened to be sailing to the Bahamas while the eye of Hurricane Mathew, as a category 4, was tragically pummeling the Bahamas. Instead we sailed to Key West, Florida and Cozumel, Mexico. To our surprise, we had smooth water and great weather nearly the entire cruise. It was only the very last night on our way back to Miami that we had rocky seas.
