This was our first ever cruise and were very excited to be on the Thomson Discovery given it was now Thomson's flagship cruise ship. We did not want to get off after the week was over.

We were not disappointed. We had a Grand Suite, which made the holiday experience for us and if we cruise again will definitely pay that little extra for a suite. It was very large, with twin sinks in bathroom, a bath, shower, large balcony and a Playstation 3 which kept our 10 year old happy! We travelled out of season when children were at school due to my daughter having chicken pox when were supposed to holiday, so we had to move our holiday; this just meant there weren't many kids on board, so not much going on for them; but the team did their best. Although the games room had around 10 X Box One's in it, none of them worked all week, much to my son's disappointment.

All staff on board were helpful, chatty and very attentive. The service in the restaurants was fantastic, and everywhere was spotlessly clean. Our cabin must of been tended to more than twice every day! Milind our cabin attendant was a very nice chap!

Cabin Review

Cabin Suite

Lovely room, lots of space and storage; twin sinks in large bathroom along with a bath and over bath shower; PS3 for kids, huge balcony with 2 x sun loungers with a table and 2 x chairs and a table.

Also took advantage of the free pressing service in first 24 hours as part of the premier package, this was great.
