I think Princess is fading in popularity with Australians.
The Sun Sea And Dawn are getting older and little things are not as good. They have cut corners on the food eliminating some popular options like New York Cheesecake and Creme Brûlée. Alas the free icecream is part of the cost cutting measure and is no longer available.
We enjoyed the warm weather and interesting ports and the cabin stewards and restuarant staff as good as they ever were.
We like this position on the ship as it is close to the back balcony and since we are elite with princess we get our laundry done which is great. The king sized bed is too big for the cabin and makes it difficult to get in and out of bed. It was fine for us. The Steward was exceptional and we enjoyed his work
Loved it went to the scenic places for viewing volcanoes beaches monkeys and etc
Caught the public bus to Penang Hill cost 60 cents then went up the funicular for a really nice view. Came back and walked to the clan jetties which was interesting but smelly.
Went on tour with a taxi driver and went up the skybridge which was covered in cloud and then on to the mangrove area at Klim which was very good and interesting.
We love Singapore and have been there often so walked to the Gardens by the Bay and came back to the ship. Loved it.
Went around the island and stopped as the most photographic places. Very nice temples and beaches
