We chose this cruise because of great last minute pricing for a balcony room. We were very pleasantly surprised at the entire experience. Embarkation was easy and quick, Service throughout ship was first rate. All the staff were working very hard to please the passengers, especially in the food areas. I saw many special requests around the buffet being handled with a nice smile and they were glad to help. Food was very good with a lot of variety on the buffet (at least 4 or 5 different types of cuisine at each meal for all different tastes). We try to eat healthy and there were plenty of choices everywhere on the buffet to eat healthy at all meals, so we did not gain weight on this cruise (contrary to other cruises we have been on). We enjoyed the sit-down dinners, and we were in and out of the formal dining room within an hour each time. Relaxing vibe to dinner.-not too slow not too fast. Add-on items like specialty coffees, gelato, and drinks were very fairly priced, and we enjoyed them often. Cabin was very clean with comfortable mattress and pillows. We both enjoyed the spa services, and they really added to the trip. Choose a port day or later in the cruise for best spa deals. Definitely a different overall relaxed and positive vibe to this ship versus other typical Caribbean cruise (party) lines. Many Europeans particularly Italians all having a very good time-not rude at all like posted elsewhere. We thoroughly enjoyed this cruise and intend on cruising this exact ship again on a longer voyage.
