The Allure of the Seas: Upon embarkation, you are struck with ridiculous upselling - multiple drink packages, specialty restaurants (which you will want due to the crappy food in main dining), shore excursions, future cruises, etc. We signed up online for different entertainment venues. One was cancelled as we sat waiting and was rescheduled. Another had a huge line 15 minutes before the doors opened, so we opted out. We had the four night specialty dining package. We left our reservation at Izumi because the roar of the diners and chef around the cooking table was deafening in such a small room. The other specialty dining areas were fine. I don't want to sound like a cruise snob, but after 15 cruises, I've never encountered so many rude and uncouth passengers. Formal night meant a man could wear anything but a "wife beater". One table had three guys wearing T-shirts - at least they weren't white. Debarkation was ridiculous. We had sent out bags to the airport using their valet service, but still had to wait in line for 90 minutes to get through customs.
