Cruise was great. Last cruise was on Celebrity so it will be compared to that but have sailed Carnival Conquest out of Galveston twice before.

Embarkation was easy, but we were one of the last on the ship since we flew in that day. Carried our own luggage on or it would be dinner time before we got it. We got on at 3:45 pm and there were still racks and racks of luggage on the dock.

Room steward was great, we've cruised 9 times and never had a bad one.

Cabin Review

Balcony

Cabin 8A

Not a good choice unless you are a night owl. The piano is right below your pillow. In the bathroom you get even better acoustics and can identify the song he's playing. Most of the time the piano bar shuts down at 1am, so plan on really good earplugs or partying until then.

Other than that, it is a typical balcony cabin.

Port Reviews

Galveston

Easy embarkation, but we were the last ones on the ship.
