My DH and I have done numerous cruise and try to go to different destinations each time, this time we chose the Fall Foliage Cruise leaving out of NY and ending in Quebec. We flew in the day of the cruise, unfortunately we did not have enough time to explore New York but had been there before. Pick up by Princess was prompt and our flight with EZ Air was on time.

We arrived at the port around 1:30 PM and the lines looked long but thank goodness we are Platinum with Princess and therefore got to use the Express Check in Line, we walked right up and were on the ship within 10 minutes.

The Caribbean Princess is an older ship but in good shape. The crew was always working on the ship to maintain a clean ship. Our cabin was E627, an obstructed ocean view cabin. First time we ever stayed in an obstructed view cabin - our view was between two tenders and allowed us to see the ocean - only problem was the stairs that lead up to the life boats were right at our window so when in port, if the crew was working on the tenders they could look into our window. I did not mind the cabin but my hubby did not like it. If your into saving money and don't mind the limited view this is actually a great choice.
