Had been on a Viking River cruise a few years previous, and always wanted to go to Scandinavian countries (before I get much older!) It seemed the right choice and I have no regrets. The only negative was the air travel which could have been much more efficient, and might prevent future trips for me.

BUT - The ship (Viking Sea) was SO beautiful and tasteful and comfortable in every way that being a passenger was a wonderful experience in itself. Really appreciated all the art work and the clean design. And then there was an unbelievable crew - the most friendly, helpful, polite - TERRIFIC staff - so very well trained to do their jobs, that I hated to say goodbye to them. And the food - WOW - it was the very best!

And then the ports of call - cannot rave enough about the destinations themselves. Some guides were better than others, but overall the land experience was fantastic, and for me that was my reason for going on this cruise. I learned so much about other countries, and LOVED the scenery, especially in Norway and Denmark. THANKS, Viking, for ALL of it - the trip of a lifetime!!!
