The main dining rooms and the French restaurant were excellent. The buffet (Raffles) was unremarkable at best. In particular, the pancakes were tough and over-cooked, the “crispy” bacon wasn’t, the oatmeal was runny and finding a place to sit for breakfast was often a challenge. Our cruise with Princess last year included an excellent buffet. Norwegian needs to step up.

The shows: The sound man seems to have been deaf in the bass range. We had to leave one show because the bass was so loud that it was physically painful. Singers were hard to hear over the crazy-loud bass. Seriously, many of the passengers are on the high side of 60 and have already lost too much of their hearing. I have a decibel-meter app on my phone and recorded consistent readings above 90 db. That’s a health hazard. There’s no excuse for subjecting people to that kind of damaging noise. CUT IT OUT!!

The “magic show” was horrible; 7th grade obvious garbage. That guy is a failure and has no business in show business.

All service personnel excellent. Noise from the fitness center after 10:30PM. Strong chemical smell from bathroom drains until a drain pipe was replaced.
