A great cruise... Sadly embarkation at Venice was disorganised and extremely slow, as is Marco Polo airport... disorganised chaos!! So embarkation was easy to find, well sign posted, long queue for embarkation, but once on-board an amazing experience. The whole ship is tidy. Cabin was ready soon as we boarded, went down to level 5... Cabin steward greeted us on arrival which was really pleasant. Cabin was nice size, decent shower, nice bathroom, plenty of storage space in wardrobe and drawers. Restaurants are amazing, all the staff are friendly and say hello. Amazing selection of food options 24 hours a day. Entertainment Director over the PA gets annoying after week... Dingo Dave does like the sound of his own voice for sure!! HAHA... The food is probably the best thing of the ship!!! 24 hour selection of food... Had a good look around the ship before we left Venice, Sail Away in Venice was amazing, great views. Cocktail offers each day on board. Service on board was great. The staff work tirelessly to ensure you have the greatest vacation experience. Great theatre on board with very talented actors and entertainers. However... the magician needs to either update his act or get off!! His act would be impressive 20 years ago in the height of the Paul Daniels era... but now its very dated and not spectacular at all... Staff always around to serve drinks during the performances should you want it!! The service on board is second to none!! Shopping experience is great. Everything you should need available in the on board shops... Dwayne in the shop was helpful, great to chat to and very handsome!!

Ports... These let down the cruise... Corfu... not impressed at all... all run down and not very interesting... Santorini was picturesque... but the donkey rides were cruel... Mykonos was ok... Olympia was the most impressive... everywhere in Greece is run down and in ruins... where are all the bail out funds going? Definitely not on the tourist areas... Dewi and Ida in Star Bar were great... hosting the LGBT get together each evening, Dewi was the greatest hostess... Ida was a great waitress...

The whole experience was amazing... a great cruise... attentive staff... The ship was neat and tidy, but needs refurbishing for the med scene!! Cruise is ideal for young individuals, couples or friends...

Cabin Review

Inside

Cabin IF

Comfortable cabin. Air conditions controls nice and easy and effective. Great powerful shower. Nice bathroom... plenty of storage space in wardrobe. In cabin safe for use with simple to set up instructions. Expect towel animals each evening on your bed when the cabin attendant turns down your bed!!!

Port Reviews

Venice

Average port... Long embarkation process though... after hours and hours of travelling not the best start to a holiday

Corfu

Run down. Nothing exciting here. Explored on our own... €15 for a sightseeing tour bus ride... not much to see to be honest... not really worth it for an hours bus ride around the island...

Santorini

Walked around by our own. Took the tender boat to the island.. then the cable car up to the top and walked around and then walked back down... the donkey rides to take tourists up and down the rock are cruel. No water for the donkeys carrying people all day. Cruel. Did not support this.

Mykonos

Cheaper to book independently than with the cruise line. Island of ancient ruins. Interesting but nothing special. €6 in the shop for a drink... not worth it when its €2 elsewhere!!!

Katakolon (Olympia)

Much cheaper to book independently... Interesting to explore around where the first Olympic Games were held. All ruins...but interesting all the same!!
