We choose this cruise partly because of the Viking cruise line reputation and also the ports we would be visiting. The ship was the Viking Star and it was very impressive. We were very happy with the size of our stateroom, the food in their restaurants, the excursions they offered and their ports of call. the staff of Viking Star was very friendly and vert attentive to our needs. The variety of food offered in their main restaurant was impressive. We were very pleased with the quality and variety of the food offered. The bed in the stateroom was amazing- very comfortable. It was great to be offered water on our way off the ship for our excursions and the warm towels and sometimes champagne when we returned. There were guest lecturers at times which were very informative. The choices for the shore excursions were varied and there was always one that was included.

Cabin Review

Cabin Deluxe stateroom

We had our own private veranda which was awesome for the view- especially when arriving in a new port. The bed was very comfortable. Very little noise was audible from inside the cabin. Our steward was great- very attentive. The bathroom was a very nice size. The TV was a good size and the movie selection was adequate.
