Took this cruise to use the credit from the last bad NCL cruise. This one was even worse. If you like to get drunk, it may be fine, free liquor. I drink very lightly, so that is not a draw for me. However they don't even have gluten-free beer for us celiacs, pretty bad. I ordered gluten free toast, that was served on top of wheat English muffins with the same tongs. Now that may not sound bad to most of you, but talk to a celiac and you'll learn that is a major problem. I am lucky I don't get ill from contamination, but I am a rare one. When you have celiac, you order your food the day before, and even then I was greeted with "the chef could not do that, would you like shrimp? (I am allergic to shellfish). They ran out of butter, and the food was about coffee shop quality. I would not recommend this line for Celiac people, the chance of contamination is 99% if you eat!

The tours were thrown together since we had port changes, but terribly unorganized. They called our tour, and when I went to go out, was told no, not your tour. Later we are told, all the tours left are for after 1pm. NO, mine is 11:15.....oh we called that one. So the worker was wrong and made us late to the tour. On other lines organization had groups sitting together in meeting area to exit together. The casino management was rude and arrogant, saying "too bad" if you had a complaint. I had to go to passenger services to get the problem solved, which I did.

NCL may be seem like a "bargain" for new cruisers, but they dollar you to death. $7.95 to deliver room service? Free on other lines. Convenience fee in casino? Free on other cruises. Even the "free drinks" were sometimes "bait and switch" as they offer what you think is free then they ask for your cruise card. In conversation with several first time cruisers, they were shocked at their bill, when they thought it was included. I think they take advantage of their passengers. The funny part, on most cruises you are inundated with bar service, offering drinks. On NCL, with free drinks, belly up to the bar and get your own. Since it is free, they make you stand in line like a cafeteria! And the lines are long!

Small rooms, not much storage, good sized closet. Under pool deck and quit noisy with deck chairs being dragged all over. Thank goodness I can sleep through just about anything. Not recommend for light sleepers!
