First ever river cruise was overall excellent. In particular the service & food. Detailed logisitics were very well managed (on-shore passes, buses to excursions, etc.)
Loved that the dining room could seat everyone at once and was unassigned seating. Plus the option for less formal setting if desired in the lounge. Food choices were great quality and quantity was good (not too little, and not too much). Variety of the morning buffet was outstanding.
Included excursions, as well as optional, were very good with excellent guides. Very much appreciated the transmitter system that let me roam for photos yet not miss any information from the very informed guides.

Veranda Suite
Excellent service for the cabin. Wonderful room with lots of storage and very efficient use of space. While nothing the cruise company could do about it, reality is we used the balcony very little to unseasonably high temperatures, compounded by our room being on the "sunny side" of the ship.
