We cruised the Romantic Danube in 2014 with Viking on the Delling and really enjoyed the experience. In fact we enjoyed it so much we "enticed" our neighbors to join us on this trip - their first river cruise.

On our first river cruises we embarked without any pre embarkation stay so decided to take in the sights in Amsterdam for a few days prior this time. Viking chose a very nice hotel close to the town attractions.

The Idi was as nice as our previous Longboat, all of the Crew were fantastic and very helpful. The Veranda stateroom was just as we remembered on the Delling. The food and service was great, and we again chose the Silver Spirits Beverage Package. Read more
