I have wanted to visit Prague and Dresden and when I found this cruise, it appealed to us immediately. Since we have taken two previous Viking River cruises, we felt confident that the experience would be wonderful and were not disappointed. All of the hotels were excellent, this was the first time to use a Viking hotel in addition to one of our own choosing. The tours were both informative and entertaining - again as usual. We were concerned that the river water lever would be so low that we would have to use a coach around some sections but it was not necessary. Our captain was a genius in managing the cruise times so avoid any problems even so, we did lightly scrape the bottom once. It was inconsequential and most guests did not even notice. The embarkation and disembarkation were up to the usual Viking standards as was the ship and crew. A special shout-out to the cruise director for the great on-board entertainment and for being very helpful. We have already signed up for the ocean Viking cruise from Barcelona to Stockholm next spring!

Cabin Review

Veranda Stateroom

Cabin A

When we initially got to our cabin, there was a strong musty odor. When we reported the problem, we were temporarily moved to an adjacent room when our room was fixed. The problem was corrected and we returned to our room in good order. Great performance by ship's engineering!
