Scenic walking tours were rich in historical and cultural experiences.

Overlooking the Danube as we make our way to another of the marvels in this beautiful setting.
This biergarten gave the opportunity to enjoy one of the many varieties of beer - all made from the same four ingredients!
Every member of the crew, from housekeeping to the Captain, helped make every moment a delight.
Standing on the parade field in front of where Adolph Hitler stood (blue shirt) was a very ominous experience.
Sitting in the Nuremberg courtroom where the war trials were conducted was an incredible experience also. Our tour guide vividly explained the historical significance of this place.
Meeting new friends was a highlight of the trip. Sharing cruise experiences together and learning about each other around the table at mealtimes was a bonus.
We are already dreaming about our next Viking River Cruise.
