We chose this particular Viking Vilhjalm Danube cruise because we were looking for a European river cruise that was beautiful, relaxing, and stopped at wonderful ports. Happily, that was our experience! Every member of the ship's staff was professional, friendly, and accommodating. Our suite was lovely and comfortable, although much of our time was spent on other areas of the ship talking with new friends and watching the scenery change. Off of the ship,Viking offered an extensive selection of excursions, and we wisely took advantage of a number of them. Of special interest to us was the emotional tour of Terezin on our Prague extension, and the fascinating Dohany Street Synagogue tour in Budapest. Other favorites included The delightful Wachau Valley Winery Tour and Tasting in Melk, and the authentic Mozart and Strauss Concert in Vienna. We both thoroughly loved this trip, and look forward to cruising and exploring with Viking again!
