We chose this cruise because friends had given VRC great reviews. We were not disappointed! The meals were delicious, the "house wines" poured at lunch and dinner were from the regions we were in. We met many wonderful people because there were no assigned seats, but were no tables of two or four. So you sat with folks you didn't know and then if you chose to sit with them another night, they were likely sitting with a few other new people, so we got to meet lots of people.
Regarding alcohol, I loved he fact that you could buy a local wine while out, and they would cork it and serve it to you for no fee; everything was done in good taste.
The included tours were interesting, with good local guides.
