This was our second cruise on the Viking Star, so many of the crew knew us and did an outstanding job insuring a fantastic experience. Our favorite part of the ship was the Explorer Lounge. Beautiful views and great service! From the dining to shore excursions, we couldn't of asked for more. The Manfield's Italian restaurant was superb. The maitre d" was especially helpful in making sure we were taken care of properly. The staff involved with the shore excursions were fantastic and advised us on how to take advantage of each stop. We took the pre excursion trip to Iceland. Highly recommend if you haven't ever been there. Perfect acclimation to the colder weather we were about to experience. Loved it! We have already booked two more Viking Mediterranean Cruises for 2017! As luck would have it, one is on the Star again! Favorite stop's - Helsinki, Estonia, Stavanger, Gdynia Poland and Stockholm.
