We went with friends who had been on Viking's River cruise before. This was their ocean cruise. We had a wonderful time! The room we had was very comfortable and roomy, we loved the veranda. The food was the best we've ever had on a cruise ( we have been on 4 others). The staff was the friendliest we've ever experienced also. The whole trip went smoothly from our flights to transportation to and from the ship. The day excursions were very well planned, informative and fun. The guides were so knowledgeable and entertaining.The shows on the ship were awesome. All in all the trip was great and hopefully we can do it again some day. I like the fact that all the rooms had verandas. We would sit out on the deck with our coffee every morning. The four restaurants were each unique with the different choices of meals. We will have to save up and go again before we get too old.
