We have taken Viking cruises in the past and have never been disappointed. The embarkation and disembarkation went extremely well with crew members being very responsive. The Danube cruise was outstanding. The crew was excellent in displaying customer service and the ports-of-calls were excellent. The tours/shore excursions were well done and very informative! The ship entertainment was also very good and the dining could not have been better. We especially like our extra days in Budapest where we hired a tour guide and took a wonderful tour of the entire city and the surrounding towns. We highly recommend staying the extra two days in Budapest and touring that great city. We will be planning our next trip to Europe in the very near future and look forward to our next cruise. The Wi-Fi on board was less than usable so maybe Viking will improve that portion of the cruise in the future.
