The Pacific Coastal itinerary is one of our favorites, especially when it involves sailing under the Golden Gate Bridge. We cruised last year on RCL's Jewel of the Seas and vowed to try to do this cruise every year if the price was right. We booked a D1 aft after final payment at a great price and were so looking forward to another great time on the west coast.

Since we like to take public transportation, the trip from the SEATAC to downtown, to the port, was quite the adventure but very doable if you pack light and are not afraid of stairs and a little bit of walking. The embarkation went quickly and we were in our room unpacking by 1:30pm.

Our cabin was large but sparse with a big gap between the bed and couch and no table in front of the couch. Our steward explained the ship had recently been refurbished and RCL decided not to furnish tables in front of the couch. We especially enjoyed the large aft balcony which had a table and chairs and two loungers. The view was amazing. Read more
