Our friends were on the River Boat Cruise and totally loved it as did we. The Viking River Cruise accommodations were excellent from the time we landed in Amsterdam to transferring us to the Basel, Switzerland airport.

They met us with big Viking River Cruise signs in the Amsterdam airport baggage claim area and transported us to our hotel. The Hotel was top notch as well with awesome service and great breakfast buffets daily and daily city tours and transport to the River Boat Cruise embarkment. The River Boat Cruise crew and daily tours/activities/entertainment was second to none - an awesome experience. The crew was so friendly and helpful for any questions we had regarding disembarkment transfers, duty free info, etc. The daily breakfast, lunch, dinners, and snacks were the best with so many choices to accommodate everyone's needs. The modern designed rooms and housing/cleaning crew were excellent as well. We loved the small boat experience with 184 people on board as well as crew member by the end of the 7 day cruise; you acknowledged everyone because you either met them when dining or at an on board activity or Cruise excursion tours. And lastly the Captain and his crew did a phenomenal job - very smooth comfortable cruise.

This was our first Viking River Cruise and we're already planning another in the near future with a group of friends who loved the pictures and stories from our trip and want to join us the next time we book through Viking River Cruises.
