One of the best cruises we have ever been on. The new ship Viking Star is a Star. A truly fantastic ship - lives up to the hype. Loved the experience so much we booked an Amazon cruise while on this one. Still breaking in new employees. Viking Ocean is growing at a fast rate and there are some growing pains - but nothing huge.

Would recommend the 3-day precruise stop in Iceland. A very interesting place.

Embarkation and Dis were better than average. Excellent baggage service.

Cabin Review

Cabin V1 Veranda

Very nicely appointed cabin. Very large bathroom (with heated floor!) including the largest shower in a regular cabin that we have ever experienced. Storage areas are a bit tight. Could be an additional cabinet on one wall. Certainly adequate. Luggage goes under the bed as on most cruises.

Would not spend any extra money to move to a higher deck unless you book a suite. Additional perks are minimal.
