We had already been on a Viking river cruise 2 years previous which was excellent and decided to try there ocean cruise, we chose Viking because it was a small ship with only 900 passengers, no way would we be interested in a large ship with over 2000 passengers, it is just not us. Everything about the cruise from the time we boarded to the time we disembarked was total perfection, Vikings organisation skills are second to none, you just could not fault them, the food was out of this world, and shore excursions at each port were arranged and timed to perfection. Cleanliness was at the top of there list of priorities and the friendliness of there staff was excellent, especially the steward who looked after our cabin, they really could not do enough to help you and to ensure your stay on board met with Vikings very high standards, we would without doubt take another cruse with Viking, river or ocean, they were both excellent.
