Wanted to go on a Viking ocean cruise and experience all it had to offer. I had previously experienced 2 Viking River Cruises. Viking never disappoints. Everything was perfect. Ship, cabin, excursions, food and of course the wonderful Viking employees. Love the excurs ions with the local tour guides who were most informative and very proud of their home lands. Viking cruises are elegantly casual but never stuffie . The Explorers lounge and the spa Pool area were my favorite spaces. Both calm, soothing and a great place to relax and unwind. This certainly will not be our last Viking cruise. We are looking forward to a river cruise to Portugal in the future with Viking. We enjoyed meeting the captain on several occasions. Willie Ames was the best cruise director ever. We enjoyed his humor and great smile. The food was so good we had a hard time trying to make up our minds where we eat each evening.
