Wanted to revisit the NW and felt that this was an excellent way to do it. The staff was pleasant and knowledgeable. The food was plentiful, but mediocre in quality. Music in the lounge was so loud that it intruded into our cabin and despite 3 requests to have the volume lowered, nothing was changed. We couldn't hear the TV and it was impossible to read with the loud music - and we were halfway down the hall from the lounge! They tout that they offer free wine and beer throughout the cruise, but that is only with meals, and if you have the late dinner seating (7:45 PM) it's really too late to drink wine. Dining at the Grill is strictly limited to 2 visits per week, so you have no choices as to alternate dining arrangements. Our tour guide on the Ultimate NW Experience shore excursion was talkative to the point of almost being "yappy", and had no knowledge of the local flora/fauna when asked a question. A second bus on the same excursion had a totally different itinerary and our friends on that bus had a very different experience - it sounded very poleasant compared to our experience. We had considered doing another cruise with this company, on the Mississippi, but after our experience here, we will not do it.
In itself, the cabin was spacious and pleasant with a private balcony. However, our location was terrible - too close to the lounge and the VERY LOUD music that they insisted on playing every night.
