We had never been to Scandinavia and thought this cruise would let us see a lot of it efficiently. We really signed up primarily for the shore excursions, but were pleasantly surprised how nice the ship and the crew were. (It was our first cruise) Even though the ship was fully booked we never had a sense of overcrowding...all the facilities were always available and many times we had them almost to ourselves. The ship itself was beautiful, the dining facilities were amazing, and our cabin was so spacious, more like a hotel room than a cabin. The World Cafe had excellent buffets for breakfast and lunch, and we never had to wait for a table to become available. The Restaurant had a wonderful menu and service was excellent. And the two specialty restaurants were truly experiences, and we were able to secure extra nights in them once we were on board.
