Having recovered from a stoke, wanted to start travel to different part of the world, with out having to deal with frequent hotel and travel limitations. Vilking was perfect . Stateroom with a veranda was beautiful. Plenty of room and comfortabe bathroom. And we only had to unpack and pack once. Being on board 15 days we appreciated the free self serve laundry. They even provide the detergent. Everything on board very clean. Enjoyed the intimacy of the ship, wonderful excursions clearly marked with level of difficulty. Tour guides very knowlegable and friendly. A variety of dinning options to suit our daily schedule and mood, we never got tired of the delicious offerings. Fellow Shipmates were from all over US and Canada it was easy to make new friends. Mostly a young retirement group of travelers. A few families with high school children. Entertainment on board and excursions designed for a mature group, which suited us just fine. All in all it was a wonderful experience. We certainly look forward to our next ocean cruise with Viking. We might just try a river cruise first!!

Cabin Review

Very clean with room to move around. Loved the veranda. Plenty of closet space.
