From the second we arrived at embarkation point it was just magical.. and "smooth sailing"!

Our guide on the ship, Renee, was so welcoming and completely understanding of our needs at any given point throughout the journey. The same can be said for every member of staff on board. A lovely bunch of individuals with an abundance of charm and kindness. We were made to feel special ! Being on board was just as much a pleasure as being on an excursion. The chef made himself known and the whole dining experience was one to look forward to as the food was so fresh and interesting. We were treated to an end of journey last meal that was German inspired with the servers wearing lederhosen ..that meal with all the thought that went into it will always remain in my memory. We were treated to hot towels after excursions and even aperitifs ! Just amazing! Not being a solid traveler yet with this being our first cruise my Mom and I were just overwhelmed with the attention to detail. The excursions were so delightful from the stellar bus ride to the charming guides, each from the given area making their conversation so fun and interesting ! We adored a few of them, one of whom sang to us on the bus ride. We are lovers of plants and gardens so the Rhine journey was absolutely breathtaking both with weather (August 5 cool sunny and dry )and visual scenery. We fell in love and look forward to another trip.
