We wanted to see eastern Germany, the Elbe River and Prague .
The staff on board the ship were very helpful, professional and made for a great cruise.
We extended pre cruise in Berlin. It was great. The Berlin Grand Hyatt was awesome. The Viking staff could have been a little more helpful with explaining use of public transportation. The Grand Hyatt was centrally located.
On older ship but the cabin was in good condition and the Steeard did a great job.
It was a very enjoyable cruise we were one of only a few Americans on board. Most passengers were British. It was great to make freinds from another country. Even though this was one of Viking's older ships, it was in great shape. Viking did a great job of ring local musical groups on board in the evening as we traveled through Germany. The cruise director also gave several very interest lectures. One specific enjoyable experience was the Wittenburg trio that played music from Martin Luther's time using instruments from that time.
